Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes will improve your fitness levels whilst teaching you self-defense. Our classes are a mixture of male & females, at all different fitness levels. If you are a beginner, there is no need to feel nervous as our elite instructors will spend time with you to help you feel comfortable!
What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport and a self-defense system that focuses on grabbling and ground fighting. This sports concept is the skill of controlling a resisting opponent by using leverage, joint manipulation and proper technique which forces him to submit.
Some of the techniques you will learn:
– upa mount escape
– guard pass to side control
– taking mount from side control
– Americana armlock (no-gi) or cross collar choke (with gi)
